01/2005 Project: ImageSynth Client: Personal Project Brief: Experimental "Printing Machine" Application Development Format: interactive OS X application developed in Max/MSP |
Description: This application I have built is basically a 32x24 matrix that can be filled with pixels in 256 levels of grayscale. Main features are drawing tools that can be controlled by either knobs, sliders, an X-Y pad or a randomizer. The live video screen can be played live in full screen mode and be used on a dual display system for live performances, and can record the generated imagery as Quicktime Movies. It can also be configured to be controlled by hardware MIDI controllers. I also have further plans to incorporate functions which interact visuals with MIDI data and live audio signals. |
